The 10th Annual 4-H Benefit Auction & Auctioneering Contest
Final Report:

Thank you for helping to make the 10th Annual 4-H Benefit Auction, Auctioneering and Ringman Contest one of our most successful ever!
You helped raise $12,303 in support of Arizona’s 4-H programs. THANK YOU!
Over 200 people attended the auction and enjoyed the work of 15 different auctioneers –– Arizona’s best –– who participated in the contest on April 15th, 2005, at the Maricopa County Fair. Over 90 items were auctioned off in support of 4-H programs, and at the end of the evening Mitch Jordan was selected as Arizona’s Grand Champion Auctioneer!
As part of the largest out-of-school youth organization in the world, Arizona 4-H currently reaches over 100,000 youth across the state. It is open to all youth, without restrictions.
Through 4-H, people of all ages are involved in more than 100 different programs and project areas, ranging from growing plants, raising livestock, and preparing healthy foods, to computers, public speaking, and leadership camps. Today’s 4-H goes where our kids are, and our curriculum meets the needs of today’s young people and their communities – but it has not changed its basic philosophy that hard work, planning and good organization makes a difference. Funds from this event go towards helping our young 4-H members grow their dreams through many challenging and inspiring state 4-H programs, activities, and special events. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our youth with your support, which helps to provide the opportunity for all 4-H youth to succeed!
