        I am interested in 4-H because the youth of today need involvement in programs that are positive and teach responsibility and leadership. 4-H provides young people with programs that are diverse as well as fun and educational. They also learn skills that will help them as they inter adulthood, and that is why I give my support to 4-H.
As a child I was involved mainly with western pleasure riding and horse showmanship. I also learned to sew in a 4-H sewing program. 4-H has been primarily thought of as a program for rural children. I realize that the population is becoming very suburban. I feel that 4-H is adapting to this and is offering programs that will involve these populations of kids as well. The healthy lifestyle of the program is excellent as well as 4-H camps, leadership programs, and scholarships. 4-H is a very good organization that needs to be supported. I plan to support 4-H programs in any way that I can.
