Teams Provide Leadership for Local-Regional Value-Added Discussion and Action

This value-added initiative is action oriented. It requires a commitment to work together for the success of agricultural and related small businesses, whole rural communities and regions... This is an opportunity for invited team members and other interested individuals to gain information, educational resources and technical assistance.

Sequence of Activity:

February/March, 1997:
Start Up Meeting

March 25-27, 1997:

13 Regional Teams and 4 Youth Teams from the 4 Corner States, 2 teams from Oklahoma and Texas, as well as other observers throughout the nation, will gather for a Symposium and Working Session at San Juan College, Farmington, New Mexico.

Teams Will Focus On Business - and Community-Level Strengths, Needs and Challenges So They Can Help Fellow Citizens Back at Home:
