[Bruce Beattie]
Bruce Beattie joined the faculty in 1990. He has held faculty positions at the University of Kentucky, Iowa State, Texas A&M, and Montana State University. Teaching interests include production economics and principles of microeconomics.

Beattie has received research publication awards from the American Agricultural Economics Association (AAEA) and the Western Agricultural Economics Association (WAEA), and he was a co-recipient of the WAEA Extension Program Award in 1989. He is a Past-President of the AAEA, the WAEA, and the National Association of Agricultural Economics Administrators. Beattie is a former Associate Editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, was one of 100 selected for Montana State University's Society of the Centennial Alumni in 1993, and was named a Fellow of the AAEA in 1997.
