[Sharon B. Megdal]
Dr. Megdal, Director of the Water Resources Research Center, has held a joint appointment with the Department since 2002. Her work focuses on state and regional water resources management and policy. She has taught at Northern Arizona University and in the Department of Economics at the University of Arizona. From 1985 until 1987, Professor Megdal was a member of the Arizona Corporation Commission. She was Executive Director of the Santa Cruz Valley Water District and has also served on the Water Quality Appeals Board, the Arizona State Transportation Board, and the Governor’s Water Management Commission. Currently, she is Vice Chair of the Arizona Medical Board
