Hardin: Rammed Earth Plywood Forms

This picture shows plywood form work set up between volume displacement boxes, stiffened with 2 inch x 12 inch (5 cm x 30.5 cm) boards and held in place by pipe clamps. This configuration for the rammed earth plywood forms is the result of formwork design and testing carried out for purposes of a University of Arizona School of Architecture Design/Build Studio, as described in the accompanying article. rammed earth plywood forms
