This photograph shows University of Arizona architecture students and professor setting up end boards and a window box during construction of a new home for a Gila River Pima family. The forms used for the rammed earth walls are sized to fit easily with other standard U.S. construction materials after the walls are tamped; this helps keep total construction costs down. wall construction details
