This application must include the following:
- A current copy of your official transcripts.
- A 1-2 page typed personal essay. The essay must include
(a) a personal history; (b) motivation for applying to this program;
(c) what you hope to gain from this experience; and (d) professional
aspirations and future plans.
- A nomination statement written by the Principal Investigator
of the above project, explaining: (a) the significance of the project;
(b) the objectives of your assignment; (c) the specific activities in
which you will be involved; (d) details on work arrangements and support
provided by the cooperating overseas institutions; and (e) an itemized
budget. This nomination statement must be signed by the student, Principal
Investigator, and one of the two IALC Board Members from the nominating
university/institution.
