| Conidiophore: | (on PCA) 130 x 4-5 µm, simple and upright, olive-brown color, apical secondary conidiophores typical. |
| Additional characters: | unlike A. gaisen: secondary conidiophores are multi-celled, condia and conidiophore septa are deeply pigmented, and secondary conidiophores are not ornamented. |
