Permanent No. 344257. Temporary No. 2439. Photo Station #119. Whitehouse Canyon road, 1/8 mile south of bridge. 150 yards east to first draw. Small draw with well-grassed slope, slender and sideoats gramas being the principal grasses. In the bottom of the draw mesquite and mimosa shrubs are effectively preventing erosion. Large shrubs in wash are Baccharis and Celtis. Two mimosa at fencepost. Under tree are sideoats, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Boer's lovegrass, graythorn. Two small mesquite behind large mesquite in 1936 photo, one alive, one dead. M. McClaran.
