CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for activities oriented towards increasing undergraduate student enrollment in the department. These activities include community outreach, high school and community college multimedia presentations, and recruiting undergraduates with undecided majors. Responsible for SWES undergraduate advising and internship placement. Responsible for coordinating all activity sections of NATS 101, Introduction to Environmental Science, and all teaching sections of SWES 201, Introduction to Soil Science. Responsible for teaching a section of both NATS 101 and SWES 201. Responsible for teaching UNVR 19A, Careers in Crop Production and UNVR 195A, Careers in Environmental Science. Chairman of departmental Curriculum Committee, and member of Scholarship Selection Committee for the department and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
