The Distinguished Service Award is awarded to members who have served at least 10 years as a member of Cooperative Extension, who have conducted outstanding programs, are held in high esteem by their fellow workers, and are approved by the State Director of Extension.
Candidates should have demonstrated an effective Extension program which includes carrying to completion constructive and outstanding work. They must be members of their State and National Associations the year that they are selected. Based upon membership, Arizona may nominate one candidate each year.
