ABE extension programs are part of the Arizona Cooperative Extension – “Improving lives and communities”.
In the ABE department, extension programming includes: Water Quality, Irrigation, Controlled Environments, Energy, and Animal Waste.
Irrigation programs center on water measurement, water management and irrigation scheduling.
The Water Quality programs include drinking water & human health, watershed management, water conservation, and youth education.
Animal Waste Management focuses on safe and effective methods of handling animal waste.
The Controlled Environment Agriculture outreach supports greenhouse production and other intensive agricultural businesses.
