Biography

Kristen Vann graduated from the University of Arizona in 1988 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Later, she earned her teaching certificate from the University of Washington in 1993. After teaching elementary school in Washington, Oregon, and California, she returned with her two children to Tucson in 2002. She taught elementary school for almost three years, but because of various reasons, decided to make a change and work for the University of Arizona. Kristen worked in the Dean’s Office for two years, and then accepted the administrative associate position in the Department of Agricultural Education. She has truly enjoyed working in the Department and the College. Kristen also enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her children.
