Biography

Born in St. Joseph, Missouri, Dr. Miller earned his bachelors and masters degree from The University of Arizona. He received his Ed. D. from Mississippi State University in the area of agricultural extension education.  For 17 years, Dr. Miller has been a part of our department and will be teaching AED 460 and AGTM 350 and AGTM 100 in the Fall.

The Department of Agricultural Education at The University of Arizona is unique in many ways. Besides teaching, Dr. Miller is very busy assisting in National FFA Contests. One unusual component is that the department is the academic home of instruction in agricultural mechanics. This relationship has lead to a number of Agricultural Technology Management courses that are "state of the art" for Agricultural Education and Agricultural Technology Management majors. Future teachers preparing here have a strong diversified base for teaching the applied sciences of agricultural mechanics and technology in public schools.
