Title: Dr. Robert Torres is the head of the Department of Agricultural Education. He is also the Neely Family Endowed Professor for Excellence in Agriculture and Life Sciences. He started with the University of Arizona in June 2010.

Background:
Dr. Torres was the Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Agricultural Education at the University of Missouri. He spent nine years as a teacher educator at New Mexico State University as well as a high school agricultural education teacher in Willcox, Arizona. He has earned multiple awards for teaching such as the USDA Excellence in College and University Teaching and the Missouri University William T. Kemper Fellow in Teaching.
