The Yuma Valley Farm facilities consist of a Farm Superintendent and Farm Irrigator’s residence, a reception area with a small meeting room, 5 faculty offices, 5 farm technical offices , 5 laboratories, a meeting/employee lunch room, 4 green houses, a walk in cooler freezer, a mechanical farm shop, chemical storage facility with a handling area, 8 storage sheds, and a seed storage area. The farm is also suited with a research pressurized system for irrigation studies. This system is designed to deliver water to several fields at any given time and it is also designed to provide different regimes of fertilizer applications. The irrigation source is derived from The Yuma County Water Users Association through open main and lateral concrete ditches.

 

Facilities on the Mesa Farm include 1 reception area, 3 offices, 2 laboratories, a Foreman’s office with lunch/meeting area, farm shop, 3 storage metal buildings, 6 greenhouses, 2 lath houses, a walk-in cooler, and an irrigation shed. The farm is also suited with a research pressurized system for irrigation studies; the system is designed to deliver water to several fields at any given time and it is also designed to provide different regimes of fertilizer applications. The irrigation source is derived from the Unit B Irrigation District through a main underground pipe and open lateral ditches.
