This page is the core of our series. Below are a variety of links to examples of technology that can be used in the classroom. The Virtual Reality page will allow you to virtual fly through terrain and get a better perspective on how the land is layed out three-deminsionally. By using the GIS Data link, you will be able to get a two deminsional layout of a terrain. MapGuide, which is much like a online version of ArcView, will give you a layout of the terrain and the user will be add or remove different aspects of the area. And finally, we have a Panorama link. This will take you to a page full of online panoramas. This panoramas were made with a program called Photo Vista and are basically just 12 or more pictures put together to make one continuous picture.
