By scrolling down to the copy triangle on the menu bar, you are given some options. This function allows you to copy the current location and map extent which can be viewed at a later date. You can paste the url in any word processing program. |

By selecting "bookmark" from the menu bar, you can bookmark to the different maps you view using the MapGuide Viewer. Although we presently only have one map to view, you may come across other maps on the internet that require MapGuide Viewer as well. The last function is pretty neat. By selecting "View" in the menu bar, you are given a "Distance" option. When selecting the "Distance" option, you can measure real distances over the map just by clicking a start point and clicking an end point. This is just one of the many inte functions that MapGuide Viewer provides. |

If you place yout cursor over a selected position on the screen, you will be informed of what you are selecting. To the left we use the example, "Raingages". You can see the word 'Hughe.' This a specific Raingage located in the SRERs. This function is useful when you want to find a specific raingage, corral, transect, etc. or need to record one you have already found. |
