Benches for the Campus Arboretum

The Campus Arboretum is for all to enjoy. As part of our fundraising campaign, we offer donors the chance to sponsor benches in shady sites on campus.

One of the prettiest places on the UA campus is the shady Green Belt along Park Avenue, with its many conifers and its exotic fruits, nuts, and olives.

Other potential bench sites include shady study spots or "people watching perches" along walkways. Maybe there's a special building, or a favorite hideaway to grace with a bench.

You can honor a loved one and help to encourage outdoor intellectual spaces with a gift of $3000. Each donor will choose the wording for the plaque, and we'll work together to find a special spot for your bench.

A donation at the $3000 level is an important vote for protection of the ancient olives and other historic trees on the campus. It will ensure continuing care and stewardship for the campus’s urban forest.

Each brass plaque will resemble this -
