Teaching and Research Interests
Dr. Aradhyula maintains broad interests in agricultural economics
and economics. Major fields include quantitative policy analysis,
applied econometric and time series methods, production economics,
risk and uncertainty, and computable general equilibrium modeling.
Recent
research has focused on estimating output supply and input demand
equations for U.S. crops with a policy structure. His work also
involves the use of GARCH models for analyzing commodity price
volatility. Dr. Aradhyula serves as Co-Editor of the Journal
of Agricultural and Resource Economics. In 1999 he, along with
Dr. Matt Holt, received the Quality of Research Discovery Award
from the American Agricultural Economics Association.
