The City of Poenix partners with Arizona Project WET to provide teachers within the City's water service area with the best possible water conservation education opportunities, free of charge to the teachers and schools.

  • Professional Development
    Each Arizona Project WET curriculum is available in a 1-day, 8-hour workshop. Receive curriculum guides aligned to the AZ Academic Standards. Lunch is free and participants receive lots of materials for their classroom.

      "Zoner and the Drip" (1st - 4th grades)

      • Teaches water conservation

      "Zoner and the Water Cycle" (3rd - 5th Grades)

      • Explalins the water cycle
      • Supports AZ Academic Standards
      • Each performance is 30 minutes
      • Maximum of 70 students per performance

    Libraries Provide Good Resources for Your Students' Water Education

    Did you know that in your school library and in the Phoenix Public Libraries there is a collectin of books all written about water and the environment? During the last three years, the Phoenix Water Conservation Offce and the US Bureau of Reclamation donated more than 75 different books to schools located within the Phoenix water delivery area.

    Take your students to the library and explore water and its properties. It can be a lot of fun. A complete list of book titles is available at:
