WAS values your opinions and is continually striving to improve
services and support for students, not only at WAS annual conferences, but also
throughout your student career in aquaculture and aquaculture related
fields. WAS and the WAS Student Outreach Committee (SOC) rely on your
suggestions and comments to direct our activities to best serve WAS student
members. Therefore, please take the
time to fill out the electronic questionnaire
below and let us know what activities and services WAS SOC provides that you
like, how those services could be improved, what services are not as important
to you, and please give us any suggestions that
you have for other services and activities you would like to see implemented by
WAS and the SOC.
Don’t forget that getting involved with professional societies such
as WAS can only improve your networking opportunities, enhance your knowledge of
aquaculture and related aspects of our industry (by attending
conferences and WAS member prices on WAS publications, and assist in obtaining your
future employment (by the WAS employment
service). So, if you would like to get
involved in WAS student committees and Chapter committees (while boosting your professional
experiences and C.V.) please contact the WAS Student Outreach Committee Chair and the WAS
Chapter student liaison in or near your region.
