WRRC News: WRRC 1st Annual Photo Contest Winners

News Summary

Three winning photos and six runners-up were selected.  Congratulations to the winners.
Thank you to everyone who submitted photos.  The quality and variety of pictures
submitted was very impressive.  The top 9 photos can be viewed below.

The enthusiastic response to this event was apparent from the more than 200 entries we received.

Judging was very difficult, but we hope you agree that the winning photos are truly outstanding.
The selected photographs were on display at the Arizona, Israeli, and Palestinian Water
Management and Policy Workshop: Economic, Environmental, and Community Implications of
Expanding Reuse and Desalination for Future Water Supplies at the Westward Look Resort
in Tucson and announced at the Community Evening Program held in conjunction with the
workshop on Tuesday, September 1, 2009.

We will be announcing the WRRC Second Annual Photo Contest and providing submission criteria
in March 2010.
