Setting A Vacation/Out-Of-Office Reply

How to enable a Vacation or Out-Of-Office Auto Reply

You must know your current CALS password in order to set a vacation message. If you have forgotten your password, please call the CALS Networking Lab at 621-2489

  1. Log in to http://calsmail.arizona.edu
  2. Select Automatic Reply near the bottom of the left column.

     
  3. Fill out the Reply message. This will be the message sent back to the sender.

    You can use keywords in the message body. $SUBJECT, for example, will take the sender's subject and insert it in your reply.

  4. Click "Yes" next to "Automiatc response enabled?" at the top of the page. Then click "Save" button.
     
  5. When you return back to the office, follow the same procedure, then select "No" next to "Automatic response enabled?"
