Internet Traffic Information
This page contains links to sites concerning the state of
Internet traffic. The graphs at these sites provide the user
with information on the general traffic conditions on some
key College routers and on some important national routers.
When thousands of individual users connect to the Internet
at any given time, traffic levels on the Internet can become
high, causing slower connections for each user. Internet
traffic is similar to automobile traffic in this way. During
rush hour, in the case of Internet traffic, users are bottlenecked
by technological deficiencies inherent in the system.
