Slirp Connections

What is Slirp?

SLiRP, (a TCP/IP emulator which turns a shell account into a (C)SLIP/PPP account via modem), is located on the CALS server. This allows the user to run internet software such as Netscape, Eudora and Telnet over the modem lines. In order to be able to run SLiRP from the CALS server you must have an account and be a Faculty, Staff, or Grad Student.

How to Connect to Slirp Using:

Windows95/98: MS Dial-up (Trumpet no longer supported)

Windows 2000/XP/Vista: MS Dial-up (PPP Setup)

Macintosh : Remote Access (MacOS 8>)

OSX 10.2 > SLirp connection setup and script
