About Us |
Our Foundation The University of Arizona has received a prestigious Graduate Teaching Fellowship in K-12 Education award from the National Science Foundation to develop CATTS, a program of outreach to K-12 schools. CATTS will build on our long and successful tradition of working with K-12 schools to improve science and mathematics education. This award will only be active through the 2008-2009 Academic Year thus we will no longer be accepting applications for CATTS Fellows.
Our Goals · Develop sustainable partnerships to integrate science, mathematics, engineering and technology research into K-12 education · Create opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to be active participants in K-12 education. · Foster effective teaching and a greater understanding
Our Team Our CATTS Team members work together to develop sustainable partnerships with K-12 educators that · Integrate science, mathematics, engineering and technology research in classroom learning experiences, create opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to be active participants in K-12 education, and foster effective teaching and a greater understanding of learning at all levels.
