Outreach Activities for the Tucson Community, State of
Arizona, and the World
Science Alive
Conference developed in collaboration with Curt Bertelsen, Flow Wells High
School, Tucson, AZ. is scheduled each year, and provides 9 hours of
classroom lectures and greenhouse tours.
Typically 100
teachers and 50 students from more than 15 states come to Tucson for the 4
day educational program on Hydroponic crop production.
Gene
Giacomelli, Pat Rorabaugh, Chieri Kubota and Merle Jensen, plus many
graduate students and undergraduate students participated.
