Now in its second year, this is our professional education Growers Marketing Forum and commercial greenhouse tour. The Forum will be held at the beautiful Double Tree Hotel at Reid Park, Tucson Arizona, January 17 - 19, 2007. This course is organized by the CEAC and is directed to all greenhouse and field crop growers, and the supporting industry. Maybe you are a grower, manufacturer, or supplier who has a great product, but you can?t seem to sell beyond the farmer's market. To progress from selling locally to increasingly larger markets requires knowledge and the toolkit to make it happen. That is where we come in! In two-plus days you will get the inside knowledge, tools and techniques from industry experts to enable you to successfully sell to the grocery and food service trade. The Growers Marketing Forum includes a half-day tour to EuroFresh Farms http://www.eurofresh.com/.  (Program Consultant: Dick Furash - Distance Learning Venture, LLC)

EUROFRESH FARMS TOUR 2007
We will start off the Growers Marketing Forum with a tour with a tour of North America's largest glass greenhouse vegetable operation covering over 318 acres near Willcox, Arizona. Eurofresh Farms is a leader in the greenhouse industry that produces a consistent, high volume supply of premium pesticide-free tomatoes. In 2004, Eurofresh Farms produced over 100 million pounds of tomatoes, representing a large share of the U.S. greenhouse tomato market!

During the motor coach drive to Willcox, indulge yourself in southern Arizona's beautiful natural wonders. The uniqueness of the desert is set off by nearby mountain ranges and the dramatic rock formations in Texas Canyon about one hour away from Tucson. See how this state-of-the-art greenhouse grows, packs, and markets its produce and see some of Arizona's natural treasures!

Build your sales base and succeed in regional, national, and international vegetable and crop markets! The experts speaking at the 2007 GMF3, representing a wide range of markets and industry segments, will present to growers the practical information on sales and marketing they need.

Here are a few of the experts scheduled to speak
at the Growers Marketing Forum:

Mike Bach is president of Management Ventures, Inc., a research, training and information services firm which focuses upon global retail trade management to the worlds leading consumer product suppliers. Bach will
present: Five Secrets of Successful Selling: Putting the Consumer First.
