 | Become familiar with the constitution and bylaws, ceremonies, program of activities, and
parliamentary procedure. |
| Provide leadership training. |
| Assist members in developing a practical and worthwhile program of activities and plan
for accomplishment. |
| Provide for regular, business-like meetings. |
| Keep appropriate officials and the public informed. |
| Check qualifications of members for advancement in award programs. |
| Become familiar with the appropriate foundations and other agencies supporting the
organization. |
| In certain instances, assume the initiative for chartering an organization. |
