This course covers current topics in bioengineering; photosynthesis; carbohydrate, nitrogen and lipid metabolism; specialized metabolism. This course deals with biochemical processes specific to plants and allows students to gain an understanding and appreciation of how chemical components are synthesized and utilized by plants during growth and development and in their interactions with their environment.

 

This course will be offered in the Spring 2005 semester.
