Beverly Mitchell, Class of 1967, has named the Beverly Barn Mitchelle Professor's Office in the Institute for Children, Youth and Families. Bam received a Master's degree at the UA and a Ph.D. from Arizona State University. Since then, she has been practicing as a psychiatrist in southern California, where she assists adolescents and their parents who need counseling. She believes that she received a excellent education and had many positive experiences while attending the University of Arizona and wants to give back to the UA as a way to express her gratitude.
