We invite students to submit posters on research and projects that are applicable to arboriculture, landscape architecture and design, landscape construction and maintenance, plant protection and conservation, and environmental/ornamental horticulture. This will give students an opportunity to display and share their work and network with green industry professionals during the break and lunch.
Poster abstracts will be reviewed to assure their content is suitable for the conference. Poster abstracts need to be submitted by email to Ursula Schuch at email@example.com. Please write ‘Desert Hort Conference Student Poster Abstract’ in the subject line.
Submission deadline is April 30, 2013
Poster abstracts need to have the following components:
- Author(s) and affiliation(s)
- POSTER PRESENTER name and e-mail
- A brief description of the project or research that will be presented including introduction, purpose and objectives, results, summary and conclusions. This part of the abstract should not exceed 250 words.

REVIEW AND NOTIFICATION
Individuals listed as POSTER PRESENTER will be notified of acceptance by e-mail. POSTER PRESENTERS need to be registered for the conference.
PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION
Poster titles and presenters will be listed in the Conference Program. Stand-alone table top posters need to brought by the presenters, tables will be provided. When displayed, the poster should be no more than 4 feet wide. Posters will be displayed in the ballroom where sponsors display and where refreshments for breaks and lunch are served.
