These are various workshops being considered for the spring.
This presentation will address the mechanics of creating a CD and what files need to be put on the disk. But more importantly, how do you decide WHAT content goes on the disk and what are tips in creating a good initial interface? How do you create an interactive CD? Various samples will be shared. Assumes some experience with creating basic web pages and web graphics.
The Internet is a rich source of information on many topics. This hands-on session will focus on skills to understand what basic subjects are available, finding specific information efficiently, maintaining awareness for specific topics, and dealing with the coming and going of the best search engines. General topics of interest to the college will be used as examples but we will also work individually on specific subjects of interest to you. Assumes some experience at using a search engine and having completed a few searches on your own.
