                         Visitor Information

Visit the UAIC!

The collection is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.  We are located on the fourth floor of the Forbes Building on the UA campus.  Give us a call to make sure someone will be available to help you with your questions.

Tours of the collection and presentations for groups can be arranged by appointment.

The UAIC welcomes short and extended visits by researchers. Walk-ins are possible, but we encourage you to contact us before you visit. Desk space and microscopes are available and most supplies for basic morphological study can be provided.

Visitors may also make use of the UAIC library. Please also note our specimen loan policy.

We currently cannot provide on-campus accommodations for visiting researchers. There are several hotels of varying price ranges located along University Ave and many more in the surrounding areas of downtown Tucson. Search the web for accommodations, or contact us for current recommendations.
