Entomology: Applying to Graduate School

Application for graduate study in Entomology at the University of Arizona is a two-step process:
- Admission Requirements to be sent to Graduate Admissions online:
- Submit the online Graduate College Application Form and send the $65.00 application fee to the Graduate College.
- For all applicants, have your scores on the GRE General Test sent to the University of Arizona (GRE Code: R4832)
- For applicants from countries in which English is not the official language, have your scores on the TOEFL exam sent to the University of Arizona (TOEFL Code: 4832). See the Graduate College website for more details on the TOEFL requirement.
- Additional Admission Materials to be mailed to Entomology at this address:

- Entomology Application Form (Word document) OR (pdf file)
- A copy of the Graduate College Application Form that you submitted online
- Original transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Three original letters of recommendation from faculty, supervisors, or professional mentors
- Your Curriculum Vitae or resume
- A 1- to 2-page statement of interest explaining your reasons for attending graduate school, research interests, and professional goals
DEADLINES: Admission materials must be received at the University of Arizona by the following dates, for admission the following August:
o International applicants: December 1
o U.S.A. citizens or permanent residents: January 1
