Career Development Event Day

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences FFA Career Development Event Day will be held on Friday, March 7. Approximately 1,600 high school students, teachers, and adult chaperones will visit the Campus Agricultural Center and UA main campus for 13 different, hands-on learning events in the areas of Agriculture Business and Management, Agricultural Mechanics, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Entomology, Forestry, Horse Evaluation, Job Interview, Livestock Evaluation, Meat Evaluation, Nursery/Landscape, Range Management, and Soils. 

The Awards Ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom with a welcome from Dr. Jeff Silvertooth, director of UA Cooperative Extension and Economic Development. A group of Arizona cheerleaders will appear at the awards from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to welcome students. Please feel free to attend the ceremony. CDE Day is a great way to highlight our College and University to prospective students and parents.
