Fitting in While Standing Out: Succeeding in a Diverse Workplace

The Tucson Marriott University Park the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing will host our first diversity-focused student conference entitled FITTING IN WHILE STANDING OUT: Succeeding in a Diverse Workplace. The conference will deliver practical information and real-world advice to make sure University of Arizona students are prepared to leverage their cultural competency to advance their careers.
With the support of Target, Altria, JcPenney, Macy’s, Nike, PetSmart, and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, corporate experts on diversity and University of Arizona educators, including Dr. Stephen Russell, will help students develop awareness and strategies to successfully navigate a diverse and changing workplace.

Cost of attendance is $15 for UA students and $25 for UA alumni, faculty, and staff.
