Share your energy, experience and insight about the future of Arizona. Attend the UA Water Resources Research Center's 2010 conference on June 9-10, 2010 in the Arizona Student Union Memorial Center ballroom. This year's theme is "Creating New Leadership for Arizona's Water and Environment in a Time of Change."
Organized in collaboration with The Flinn Foundation, The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L.Udall Foundation, and the University of Arizona Water Sustainability Program, the event includes presentations from faculty, student and industry leaders. Hear inspirational stories from people who are making a difference in the environmental field, and offer your ideas during the afternoon roundtable sessions. Workshops on the second day will provide an opportunity for participants to create real, substantive plans for fostering water and environmental leadership in Arizona.


Workshop topics include Identifying Key Issues in Statewide Water Planning; Creating an Arizona Environmental Leadership Institute; Creating and Information Clearinghouse and Communications Network; and Fostering Environmental Leadership in K-12 Students. Lattie Coor, Chairman & CEO, Center for the Future of Arizona will present the keynote address, "Defining Arizona's Environmental Legacy: What Does Leadership Mean for These Times?"
