  • The Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS)
    This project was established to assess the impacts of climate variability and longer-term climate change on human and natural systems in the Southwest

  • Climate Science Applications Program (CSAP)
    CSAP is a University of Arizona Cooperative Extension program focused on bringing climate science research and applications to the people of the state of Arizona and the broader Southwest region including New Mexico, southern California, and northern Mexico.

  • Drought Planning and Mitigation - CLIMAS
    Society cannot control the atmosphere in order to prevent drought; however, we can take action to reduce our vulnerability to drought. This aspect of the CLIMAS drought research effort examines the ways in which non-climatic factors affect societal vulnerability to drought, and which drought planning and mitigation approaches can help to reduce drought vulnerability in Arizona.

  • The Arizona Meteorological Network (AZMET)
    AZMET provides meteorological data and weather-based information to agricultural and horticultural interests operating in southern and central Arizona.
