4-H is the largest youth-serving organization in the world. People of all ages participate in 4-H programs, from pre-schoolers to grandparents. The list of 4-H projects is so varied that every 4-H member and adult volunteer is sure to be able to find something of interest.

Designed to develop the skills and leadership of community people so they can mobilize and take action for the community common good.

Project SOAR's goal is to encourage students to focus their efforts on educational and personal values through extensive mentoring, academic support and positive community involvement.


Community Leadership/The Leadership Centre

The Leadership Centre is a collaboration of municipal, educational, business and community interests providing leadership and educational resources to protect, preserve and enhance Arizona communities.


Community Heatlh Advancement Partnerships (CHAPS)

A formal collaboration between the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Public Health (COPH) at the University of Arizona. CHAPS links the University campus and community outreach health-related education and research efforts, with both public, and private sector organizations through Cooperative Extension offices based in counties throughout the state.
