Hydrologic and Geomorphic Alterations
- Hydrologic and geomorphic include human alterations that impact the natural water and sediment processes of riparian areas and streams. Changes in these processes can have a major impact on the functionality of riparian areas.
- Although these activities have had major impacts on riparian areas the purpose was to provide benefits to society.
