FSHD Ambassadors

Julianne Sidler is from Phoenix, Arizona and the youngest of five siblings. She is a senior, majoring in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She anticipates graduating this coming May (2008) and continuing on to receive her master’s degree. She hopes to attend Midwestern University in Phoenix to obtain her master’s in Occupational Therapy.

This will be her first year as a FSHD Ambassador. She has chosen to major in FSHD and become a FSHD Ambassador because of her love for people and her desire to better the lives of those around her. Further, her family has been a large support and blessing throughout her life and she hopes to be able to provide that kind of care for those who are less fortunate. In addition to attending classes and working, she volunteers at the Tucson Medical Center and is involved with the Navigators Christian Organization.

In her free time she likes to run, dance, play piano, read, scrapbook, and spend time with her family and friends.
