Autism expert to speak at UA Friday

A public talk being held at the University of Arizona on January 27 will feature an expert in autism spectrum disorders to discuss the latest research on these disorders, and how to identify red flags in infants and toddlers.

Dr. Sally Orzonoff is an expert in the latest autism spectrum disorders, and has written ove r100 peer-reviewed publications and chapters on these topics. This week, she will discuss patterns of the symptom onset of autism, and the development course of the first signs. She will also recommend screening tools and will discuss the accuracy of early diagnosis, according to a UA News release.
