AWC Professor Presenting at National Conference

Aryca Arizaga Marron to present at AAFCS 103rd Annual Conference & Expo in June

Yuma, Arizona (May 2, 2012)

— Aryca Arizaga Marron, Interim Professor of Family Studies at AWC and Lecturer, Coordinator 2+2 UA FSHD at University of Arizona (Yuma), will be presenting at the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences 103rd Annual Conference & Expo from June 24 through 27, 2012, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Her presentation, "Celebrating Community College and University Partnerships in Rural Communities," will provide an overview of the partnership between AWC and U of A offering a Family Studies Human Development (2+2) Bachelor of Science Degree program in Yuma.

Concepts that will be covered include program startup/recruitment, andragogy, and identifying stakeholders in rural communities.
