Ann Mastergeorge, associate professor in the John & Doris Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences, has been selected by the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs to serve as an Act Early Ambassador for the state of Arizona. According to the association, she was selected because her work aligns with the organization's goal of having state ambassadors support state programs that strengthen systems for early identification and intervention for children with signs of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Mastergeorge will serve as an ambassador for 15 months.
