D2D Receives CFSI Grant to Gamify Emergency Savings

D2D is thrilled to announce that we have received an exciting grant through the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI).  Funding from CFSI’s Financial Capability Fund II will be used to support SavingsQuest, an applied research project testing the impact of “gamification” on savings.

“We are honored to be part of the sophomore class of the Financial Capability Innovation Fund,” said Tim Flacke, D2D’s Executive Director. “We know that many Americans struggle to build emergency savings for buffering fiscal shocks, and we’re excited to explore how ‘gamification’ can impact this critical dimension of financial capability.”
