Congratulations to Jim Hunt on his new CALS position

Congratulations to Jim Hunt (currently Senior Lecturer in the Norton School) who has accepted a new position as Coordinator of Distance, Online and Global Programs in CALS, Career and Academic Services. In his new capacity, Jim will work closely with faculty, staff, students, and others “in preparation, coordination and trouble-shooting for courses and programs offered in online, distance and global learning environments.” Jim has been a valuable member of the Norton School instructional team for almost 10 years.  During that time, he has earned a reputation as one of our most effective and well-regarded undergraduate instructors and has played a pivotal role in the development and delivery of the Norton School’s now thriving online instructional program.  Fortunately, we will not be losing Jim entirely. Jim will continue to hold a .30FTE teaching position in the Norton School with appointment as Assistant Professor of Practice.  In addition, he will continue to provide coordination and technical assistance for our student outcomes assessment activities through December 2013.

Jim Hunt on this professional advancement. He will be greatly missed as a full-time member of the Norton School. However, we can all look forward to working with him in his new capacity with CALS.
