Lynne M. Borden is the University of Arizona Extension’s Faculty of the Year for 2010. Borden is an extension specialist and professor at the University of Arizona’s John and Doris Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences, where she administers a key Department of Defense – USDA NIFA Extension Military Partnership initiative. Selected by a committee composed of the elected head of the departments/schools, the elected head of the County Extension Directors and the 2009 award winner, Borden was recognized for her career contributions to the field of youth development and her focus on disadvantaged and ethnically diverse youth groups.
